Located in Seyrantepe, Istanbul, Hangarist is a premier example of adaptive reuse, transforming a former industrial warehouse into a multifunctional performance and event center. The project revitalizes the existing structure, preserving its industrial heritage while integrating modern amenities required for high-end productions.
Spanning a substantial area, the facility is divided into versatile zones including Hall A (445 m²) and Hall B (670 m²), accompanied by backstage areas, private offices, and outdoor garden spaces. This flexible layout allows Hangarist to host a diverse range of functions—from music videos and film shoots to corporate launches and concerts.
The architectural intervention focused on maintaining the raw, high-ceilinged volume of the warehouse while upgrading it with professional acoustic solutions and technical infrastructure. Hangarist stands today as a dynamic hub where industrial aesthetics meet creative flexibility.
