Nusret Grandbazaar

Nusret Restaurant is located in Sandal Bedesten, the first part of the Grand Bazaar which was built in 1461 by Mehmed the Conqueror to establish a trade centre soon after the conquest of Istanbul.

Since then, the first modern restoration was carried out in 2015 without any permanent intervention to the historical structure of Sandal Bedesten.
In 2018, the restaurant “Nusret” was designed and constructed in a section of 1120 m2 in Sandal Bedesten which is covering an area of 2170 m2 .
The restaurant has 2 floors, the main hall is established in the1st Floor hosting 100 guests common for fine&dine guests at the same time.
The 2nd Floor is designed as a special dining place for 190 guests in which all the furniture are antiques from Ottoman and Europe. You can eat in the middle of a private museum with thousands of elegant antiques and art works which were displayed all around the floor and numerous paintings on the walls.

Besides, Nusret Restaurant two antique shops, an antique carpet shop, two ex-change offices, a jewelery shop and a public toilet located in the Sandal Bedesten were also restored.
